Well, it’s finally fixed, and the remedy was quite simple actually. It had to do with a bug Internet Explorer has when displaying ‘floating’ objects using CSS. So all I had to do was add this bit of code to my template in the [style] section:
#main-column img {
position:relative;
}
Where you replace ‘#main-column’ with whatever id or [...]

Well, thanks to Zaphod, I’m finally aware that all the pictures in my posts are shifted up about 25 pixels when using Internet Explorer. I was unaware of the problem since I’ve been using FireFox for the last few weeks, and it shows everything perfectly.
