Why I suck at talking smack.

I wrote a few days ago about a little exchange my youngest brother and I had, and it involved the time of a UK Basketball game. My chum, JJ, wrote a little comment that made me want to talk a little smack. This cascaded into a little game of MySpace commenting in which I ended up looking like a chump. Here’s the comment that started it all.

And here’s the exchange of MySpace comments that we left on each others profiles, which I was of course dumb enough to start:

The Florida Gators suck! Billy Donovan used to play Eddie Munster on TV, and Joakim Noah looks like one of the kids on ‘The Boondocks’!Can you tell I’m bitter?

The 2005 and 2006 SEC champion Florida Gators are heading into the Big Dance with a 27-6 record and a 3 seed.

How’s Kentucky doing this year?

OK OK, Kentucky sucks this year… but I bet Billy Donovan takes the jump to the NBA quicker than Tubby Smith does. And we all know what happened to Florida Football when Spurrier left for the pros…. :)

True.. Florida football’s not where it was in the Spurrier era… But a 9-3 record with a bowl win ain’t half bad compared to… dead last in the SEC East!

Oh Snap! If this was Wild N’ Out and I was in the crowd, I would have been all like “OOOOOoooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” But, alas, I wasn’t. I was the smack talkin’ bitch on this one. Football… why the hell would I bring that up? I could do that to a Duke fan, but not a Florida fan.

I don’t care though, Florida is still gonna choke if they ever make it to the title game again! (runs to make sure Florida really did choke in a title game in recent years, to insure said smack is actually legit)

    I can’t wait to watch UAB take Kentucky down. In my office pool, I’ve got the Wildcats losing in the first round and of course I have the Gators winning it all.

I do not follow basketball AT ALL, but one of my internet friends invited me to do one of those free yahoo tournament pick things, and I picked Florida to win it all.     Fuck the gators, Noah is an alien of Sam Cassell and Shelden Williams proportions. Everyone sucks their dicks just because they won the national championship last year. So what? They haven’t beaten anyone worth mentioning this year, Ole Miss, Auburn, please… The one great team they played they lost to. I hope they get upset in the first round of the tournament. Fuck the Gators.
