Quadruple-Decker Go Carts
Did you know that there existed four-level go-cart tracks? Well, I certainly didn’t. At least not until I had the pleasure of visiting Redneck Vegas, more commonly known as Pigeon Forge, TN. When you ride down the strip in Pigeon Forge you will not see only one, nor only two, but a whopping THREE quadruple-decker go-cart tracks.
I first saw them last year on our trip to Gatlinburg, and I knew someday I just had to ride one. I mean, who gets to say they road on a go cart track with four levels? Only cool people is what I say!
So this year, I finally decided to stop and get my go-carting on. We stopped at the best looking one, but little did I know that the whole track that was off the ground was made of wood. Makes for some interesting sounds when you’re zooming around the downward spiral.
There was one small caveat though: I rode the track by myself for about 10 minutes before anyone else got on. And wouldn’t you know it, the other car had a mother and her 4 year old daughter in it. So I wasn’t going to be doing any of the bumper-ramming I so desperately wanted to try. I only got to pass them once too, but man, was that exhilarating. You should have seen the look on the 4 year old’s face when I zoomed past and gave her the finger evil eye!
Well, to prove I had a good time, here’s a picture of my dumbass giggling like a little school girl while I was zooming around the track.

That looks like so much fun. When I race go-carts, I always give people I pass the evil eye…and a chuckle.
Phoenix: It’s always more fun with a bunch of people on the track. When me and my brothers get on a go cart track all hell breaks lose and one or more of us end up getting kicked out.
that actually looks really fun. I’m too chicken to go too fast on those things though. i’m always afraid I’ll tip over and rip my face off on the pavement or something…lol
Dawn: I floored it the whole way… they always put enough choke on the engines so that you can’t do anything too stupid. Actually that kinds of pisses me off. The chokes on all the engines are different and you never know which cart is going to be the fastest.
hey i love go carts u should try them at branson missouri. there awesome there
