Kim Jong Il will no longer get his iPod fix
I love my iPod. I’m not shy about that fact. So it comes as no surprise that I am sympathetic to the pain Kim Jong Il is about to endure in the coming months.
Seems the U.S. government is trying a new tactic to get the attention of North Korea. Apparently, those pesky secret nuclear programs can really get under a world power’s skin. And what better way to get North Korea’s attention than restricting the luxury purchases of the nation’s communist dictator?
The Bush administration wants North Korea’s attention, so like a scolding parent it’s trying to make it tougher for that country’s eccentric leader to buy iPods, plasma televisions and Segway electric scooters.
Awesome. I’m sure this is going to be effective. There’s no way a 5′ 3″ egomaniac dictator will be able to withstand the misery of being denied life’s most precious luxuries. I’m going to go ahead and call it: North Korea will be handing over control of its military to a contingent of Bulgarian capitalists before the end of the holiday season.
I’d like to thank Matt and Trey for making me sing “I’m so ronery” everytime I hear anything about Kim Jong Il.
That whole movie (Team America: World Police) is priceless.
I think they should ship him extra iPods loaded with the same songs as Hip Cat Bush…his contains a few…I’m not making this up…Archies tunes.
