Ahh, the obligatory “About Me” page.
This blog was started basically as an outlet for my ideas, which are about as scattered as the types of posts you will see here. I’ve written about the “duality” of Gangstas & Hugs and what that means, and I’ve basically stuck to that. The name of the blog was inspired from a song by The Transplants, titled Gangsters & Thugs.
Gangstas & Hugs is basically a commentary blog that strives to be humorous. Posts may turn out to be more rant than commentary in some instances, but at least I always find my way back to useful information. I have shied away from more political posts, mainly because I’m not that good at them, and they’re not that entertaining. Most of the content on Gangstas & Hugs now centers more around social commentary and humor, and that seems to work for now.
I’ve also tried my hand at a little Gangstas & Hugs comic strip, but have only gotten one out so far. The basis for the comic were these buffoons (with Ralphie and Todd) : Part 1, Part 2. If I can get some more time and an easy template to churn out strips, then I’ll be doing a lot more. You just have to be patient.
