Top-Blogs comes through with a few links
- Not that many of these blog directories actually generate much traffic, but I’ve noticed at least a trickle of traffic coming in from ‘Top-Blogs‘. I checked out the referring URL, and apparently I’m #2 or #3 on their Humor List. Wow, must mean they’re pretty desperate if I’m up their at all. I’m sure it’s just because I uploaded a banner, and actually put a reciprocal link on my blog. But, when you look at the rest of the humor blogs on that list, maybe I do deserve to be listed that high on such a well known *cough*nonexistent*cough* blog directory. So vote for me!

I’ve already written about my quasi-obsession with numbers (although I seem to be a little less obsessive since I’m so busy lately), but this is another form of analyzing numbers that’s actually pretty fun. There seem to be whole markets of ‘blog futures’ and derivatives for ‘buying and selling’ shares in blogs. A pretty cool concept, and you can even trade Gangstas & Hugs too! I try to buy shares in [tag]blogs[/tag] that I read on a regular basis, and they haven’t let me down so far. But it is hard to sell shares for me sometimes when I need funds to buy shares in different blogs. Here’s a few I have in my ‘portfolio‘ at Blogshares.com.:

Blogroll
- The blogroll has moved its own page, as it seemed to clutter up my side bar a bit too much. But I actually think it’s a better idea, since all the blogs I’m reading will be on a single fixed page. I stole the idea from JJ from of course, but I didn’t see a (c) sign anywhere!
Christmas gifts (or New Year’s gifts)
- It’s not too late to get that special someone a nasty little t-shirt from one of my sponsors. Say like TShirtHell.com, BustedTees, DeezTeez, or CrackSmokingShirts. I know, I know, another shameless plug, but I gotta pay for all this bandwidth somehow. Plus, if you buy them, you’ll actually wear them! So help me pay for the unnecessary bandwidth for this and my other blog, please… won’t you?
You could do that most easily by signing up for an account or domain with Globat.com. I host both of my sites with them, and really recommend them.
And yes, it is too late to get that special someone a funny t-shirt for Christmas, as I think most of those merchants won’t be able to deliver by Christmas Eve. But there’s always birthdays and bachelor parties!

Shane: Good luck! Man, I’m glad I chose the panzy route and went with business school instead of law school. We just have to be good at ‘fuzzy accounting’, while you have to pass the bar exam. I’m sure you’ll do great though.

I checked out the “Top Blogs” list for humor and fuck, they all suck. The one’s that I looked at did anyway. Obviously with yours being the exception. (Mild ass-kissing? Perhaps!)
