New Place and Shameless Plug

So its finally done. Now I get to see if anyone will follow the bread crumbs and end up here. Not that it looks any different or anything… but at least it will be easier to remember where the site is located.

There have been a few changes to the site in the last few days in addition to the move. The template has changed a bit, hopefully so that posts will be easier to read. I was also playing around too much with ads on the site, just wanting to see what possibilities there were. I’m sure a few of you were wondering when it was gonna stop, and it finally did. Since moving the site to a new domain, I’ve started using a PHP Ads Server that rotates ads throughout the site. So I’ll be cutting down on the number on each page, since I know that can be very annoying.

Also, even though I’m a greedy bastard and I’d like to make a little money while spending my prescious time blogging and cartooning, I’m not without any scruples. The only ads I’ve picked out are for products or services that I’ve either already bought from or plan to buy from in the future. As you can probably tell, I like stupid T-shirts. For instance, I’ve either bought shirts for myself or as gifts from all these retailers:

• *Crack Smoking Shirts

I don’t know why I like semi-obnoxious shirts. I don’t ever get the ones that say “FUCK This and That” in big letters, what would be the fun in that. But if someone read’s your shirt for a few seconds, thinks, and laughs to themselves… and proceeds to tell you they love your shirt, then I like it. I like to call them subtly obnoxious, because not everyone sees them. One shirt I bought for one of my best friend’s birthdays was “New Mexico - Cleaner then Regular Mexico“. The idiot wheres it one day when we go eat at “Hacienda Lo Ceito”. You should have heard him trying to explain what the shirt meant to the guy at register.

Of course being a fan of ‘Old School‘, I had to get a “Speaker City shirt“. Vince Vaughn cracks me up… so paying homage to his 6 fictional Home Electronics stores is about as close to idol worship as I’m gonna get.
