Gangstas & Hugs = Pornography

I like porn. I even consider myself a connoisseur of porn. But I’ve never really posted out and out pornography on Gangstas & Hugs. Granted, I don’t really have a problem talking about sex, strippers, and booty. But I haven’t gone so far as to delve into felching or the german knuckle cake (you can look them up yourself).

So imagine my surprise when FyreGoddess let me know that she could no longer get to Gangstas & Hugs from work:

I found this incredibly amusing, if not annoying as hell.

I work at a multinational conglomerate that has a SmartFilter in place and you never know what or why something will wind up blocked. Also keep in mind that I don’t have a PC at home since, well, the whole lack of “home” business at the moment - LOL. So I do a decent bit of blog reading at work.

I never had a problem until yesterday. Imagine my surprise to find you suddenly classified as “Pornography”.

Let’s look at the definition of pornography for a moment. From Wikipedia:

“pornography often connotes the prurient depiction of sexual acts, with little or no artistic value. The line between “erotica” and the more pejorative term “pornography” is often highly subjective. In practice, pornography can be defined merely as erotica that is perceived as “obscene” (see obscenity). The definition of what one considers obscene can differ among persons, cultures and eras. This leaves legal actions by those who oppose pornography open to wide interpretation.”

So really it means I’m writing “obscene blog posts pruriently depicting sexual acts with little or no artistic value”. That real chaps my ass cleavage. I will have you know that the posts on Gangstas & Hugs adhere to the finest standards of artistic value. Take Boobie Cocktail for instance. Have you ever read a post that depicted the artistic beauty of strippers so well? I thought not.
