Ahhh… the pillar of salt gag. If you haven’t caught Stephen Colbert’s “This Week in God” on the Daily Show. You are truly missing out. I’d like to give a shout out to Allah, Yahweh, God, Buddah, and whoever else I missed for blessing us with the Daily Show. Hell, I’ve liked Jon Stewart since he hosted ‘You Wrote It, You Watch It’ on MTV…
Yes, Jon has come a long way from ‘The Jon Stewart Show’. But that doesn’t mean he’s lost anything. Maybe just grown up a bit. Although some critics may say that his role in ‘The Faculty’ was his best, I tend to believe it was his shtick in ‘Big Daddy’ that won over skeptics.
But seriously, it would be VERY hard to take the crap I’m presented everyday if it weren’t for the humorous slant the Daily Show puts on all of it.
