St. Pierre Upsets Hughes in UFC 65

I didn’t get to see UFC 65, but someone sent me an email via the contact form and left me this little gem:

“jhghgjg wrote:
sorry matt lost nooooooooo

ttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaattttttttttsssssssssss
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooootttttttttttttttttt
ccccccccccccccccoooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll”

The kick that dropped HughesWell, I’m not sure if it’s “noooooooooooooooooottttttt cooooooooooooooooolllllllllllll” that Matt Hughes lost to Georges St. Pierre, but I do think its interesting. Especially since St. Pierre was ’sort of’ considered the underdog.

I might as well go ahead and say it. I’m a profit. Just call me “Mojodamus“. I should have put money on St. Pierre, because I smelled an upset coming a mile away. Now I think it’s time to wonder “who the hell can beat GSP?”

There’s even a video of the knockout at TubeRaider, but I have no idea how long that will last. I knew those legs were going to get Hughes.

Oh, yeah. There was that “other title fight”. Apparently, it was rather boring, since it went all 5 rounds and both fighters were way beyond tired in the last one. Peter’s reviews brings up a good point that the UFC needs some more talent at Heavyweight, especially if they ever expect anyone to knock out Tim Sylvia.
