What I Did in Class Tonight

I still have 30 minutes to go in ECO 610 - “Managerial Economics” tonight, but let me go over everything I’ve accomplished during the first 2 hours (God bless wireless internet access on campus):
- I checked my email and wrote a fellow blogger for permission to include her email in a post
- Read all 150 headlines on Fark.com’s main page
- Read one full article from Fark, about some slut who wanted to cry ‘rape’ after she banged 4 dudes willingly
- Considered offering Gangstas & Hugs’s new Wordpress theme for public release, since I like it so much
- Wrote 3 blog posts (I swear)
- Bought this 22″ Widescreen LCD Monitor to pimp out my computer desk (my brother pressured me into it, and I was all like, “I’ll show you, I’ll order that summamabitch!”)
- Texted my girlfriend twice
- Took 3 pages of notes
Not too bad for 2 hours of goofing off. And writing this post only took 10 minutes. Thank god my bachelor’s degree was in economics and all this shite was blasted into my head for 4 years. Ergo, I can do everything BUT listen to what the prof is talking about.
Oh my gawd, I wonder if my students do stuff like this in class! lol
Eddie: Meh, I wouldn’t worry about it. Just start making the rounds during your lectures… you know, carry on while you start walking circles around the whole room. That’ll learn ‘em!

Just goes to shw you the true value of a college education. Obviously, your putting your time to good use.
Poobah: You said it… I can’t tell you how pissed I am with how they’ve monkeyed with the MBA program at UK since I’ve been here. If I knew they were going to make these changes while I was here I would have spent my tuition dollars some place else.
When I started I could pick from about 36 electives to fill 6 of my classes. After my first year (where I didn’t take any electives), it was whittled down to 8. I could bitch and bitch… but I’ll save that for a post by itself.
