Stephen Colbert used to be an accountant? Hell I’d have my taxes done here just on name recognition alone. How can you go wrong with Colbert’s Balls?
Taken outside of a drug store a couple miles from my house. Makes me want to go on a city-wide hunt for all the great business signs in town.
Do you have any silly/funny business signs in your neck of the woods?
There were three, but two are gone now.
I always got a chuckle out of Brown’s Pianos, Organs and Waterbeds (gone). The one-story Otis elevator company *still* cracks me up whenever I drive by. But the best, by far, was when Jewish World Printing was located next to Gentile’s… but JWP moved to a bigger location recently and they took down the sign.
FyreGoddess: Pianos, Organs and Waterbeds? Awesome. I would have loved just to walk into a store like that.
And yeah, the JWP/Gentile combination would have been my favorite too.
Here’s one for ya. It’s a sign I saw at an Atlantic City strip mall. Three businesses listed next to each other on the sign are BJ’s, Dick’s and Seaman’s. Hehehehehh

My favorite local sign is Penis Pizza, but we have a street corner on Hooker and Pleasure.
