Happenings in the Blog World - 2.10.2006

Thought I’d chime in with a few interesting happenings in the blogosphere.
- The Perfect Valentine’s Day is posted at Beauty vs. the Beast. Have a read, it’s not too shabby if I do say so myself.
- Some cleaning ladies stole JJ’s and Boggy’s bag.
- A couple of blogs that I really liked have gone on hiatus for some personal reasons. The Pheonix and Dear Jane were two blogs I started reading almost as soon as I started a few months ago (mainly because they were a few of the first bloggers to comment on mine). I really liked both of their writing styles, so hopefully they’ll both be back soon.
- Josh Smith actually did the research on how often swearing is done online in Halo 2. My brother sent me this, and since he claims “I use all his best material”, he can kiss my ass. I found this hilarious mainly because I’ve already written about it, but just never felt the need to actually count how many times someone is saying he’ll “own my fuckin’ noob ass”. Thanks Josh!
- Ninjas are popping up everywhere. If you’re not careful, you might just get a roundhouse kick to the face while you wait for the bus!
- These bitches are entertaining, but I’ll be damned if I ever submit my blog for evaluation. I don’t think my fragile ego could take it.

I considered submitting my blog to them. But to what end?
I mean, we like our blogs and other people SEEM to like our blogs. It’s better to just leave well enough alone, right?

As for submitting your site… I say it’s totally worth it. Even a scathing review gets you hits.

JJ: You’re welcome… and I see your point. It might actually be worth it, especially since its only my pride and I new hits are always good, right? Maybe I’ll end up submitting it… although I think I’ll clean the blog template up a little bit before I do.

Well, we didn’t have to wait too long for Phoenix to come back. What a tease. I fear Jane will be AWOL a bit longer.
