Robguy: I think I have a solution for this. There will be another person starting in a month or two, and I can order their equipment now. PLENTY of time for me to ’switch out’ my laptop and monitor with the stuff I order.

I’ve spent my entire day ordering new equipment for everyone. Everyone but ME! I need to come up with a plan to get a new monitor or a new printer or something around here…but like you, I just can’t take my monitor and accidentally drop it off of my desk in hopes of getting a new one. Damn conscience! Damn morals!

I would definately reimage mine and take the new one. Of course the other guy with the same model might have an issue with him not being upgraded…

rockyjay: Yeah, not only do we have to worry about dick comparisons, now we have all these gadgets we have to ‘measure up’ on.

nicole: Yeah, I’m pretty conniving when it comes to that kind of crap. And yes, I definitely count myself lucky that I have a little bit of influence over what type of gadgetry I get to play with at the office.

I have come to the same conclusion…

The old days it was penis envy and I was pretty well covered… Now in everchanging world of technology, Laptop envy has taken over.

I’m weaponless.

Now, I gotta go to check if Dell had something at discounted prices.
