NCAA Champs Go Crazy

This is for JJ

“Tragedy follows Triumph at NCAA Championship Game.”

AP; Rueters: Shortly after Florida’s win over UCLA Monday night in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship game, Florida forward Joakim Noah turned the scene from one of jubilation to one of grim disgust that will haunt the city of Indianapolis from years to come. It appeared that Noah picked up a random 8-year-old Florida fan and bodyslammed him to the wood floor during the after-game celebration. The young boy died on the floor shortly after due to heavy trauma to the head and a broken neck. Noah, the star sophomore on Florida’s basketball team, appeared unphased by his actions against the 8-year-old boy and began playing air guitar over the quivering boys’ body. Several of Noah’s teammates seemed to understand what was going on, but their attention quickly turned back to themselves when they saw the CBS camera crew point to them. Billy Donovan, who won his first national championship had this to say about Noah’s actions, “Well he has been nothing but perpetual energy all year for us and everything he does, he does with an urgent passion, so it doesn’t surprise me that he killed that young boy when bodyslammed him, he always finishes what he starts.” The family of the young boy was immediately thrown into shock and once paramedics arrived to announce the boy had died they broke down. A family lawyer of the dead boy issued an immediate statement that whatever the financial retribution stands for this family due to the University’s player actions (Noah), that Florida football season tickets would be in order.

God I hope his ugly ass jumps into the NBA draft. This ’story’ taken from a comment a friend of mine left on one of my personal blogs.

This is the funniest thing I’ve ever read.

I really need to stop reading your shit while I’m at work. People are starting to think I’m insane for laughing so loud and talking to the computer.

JJ: Good, I’m glad you thought it was as funny as I did. I wish I could give credit to the exact author… I’ll have to ask my friend who posted it where he got it from.

Robguy: Yeah, yeah, I know… better late than never though. I wish I had it to post the day after the tourney.

rockyjay: It is a little scary… I wonder how easy it would be to put something like this out as a real story.

nicole: Yeah, I know… I stole it, and as soon as I find out who originally wrote it, I’m giving them full credit.

Dawn: It is written almost like a real newspaper story would be…

Phoenix: Oooooh! Florida Sweatshirts… awesome! I bet they’ll hold out for season tickets though.
