A Few Updates…
Some of you may have noticed that I’ve put the “Friends” Blog Roll back on the main page in the sidebar. I did this mainly because I think it gives a little better exposure to the blogs I read. I also posted a list of “Interesting Reads” on the right sidebar. Although I can’t visit this many blogs a day, I do try to make sure and stop in to those fine sites whenever I can.
Another change is that I’m trying to cut down on the number of ads on the site, so that it doesn’t look as cluttered. I know it can be frustrating going to any website who just fills their page up with as many ads as is possible. So I just want to make sure I don’t become one of those dreaded blogs.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll keep a few of the ads here and there. I am trying to make enough to pay for the bandwidth and hosting. Although I’ve never had the illusion that I would actually make any kind of profit blogging, especially with the crap I write about.
I’ll also be trying to create a list of blogs that link back to Gangstas & Hugs, since the Wordpress Plugin I’ve been using to do that only grabs the most recent links from Technorati. If I have to do that manually, then so be it.

I ‘ve been keeping a linkback page as well. Though, I got a little caught up when I decided to include everyone who links to any particular entry on my site. The list got a little out of control. I’ve tried to scale back to include only those sites that have me on their blogroll. It’s a bit easier to manage.
Also - I must have lost my fucking mind when I decided to create a link page for everyone who comments on my site. That’s just insane. I really need to download the Wordpress plugin for the home page that shows frequent commenters…
Jesus JJ, you were doing that all manually? I was gonna ask you how you were doing your linkback page, with a plugin or what not. Hmmm… I guess it’s not that bad, if you just stick to the sites that only link to your main page. But keeping up with the comments is ridiculous… There’s no way I’d try to tackle that. I’ve done it, but I went the easy route, with the plug-in.
