New Gangstas & Hugs Domain

If I do end up switching for the long haul, this will be the domain:

http://www.gangstas-hugs.com/

This is just temporary for now, I wanted to make sure I could upload via FTP first.

    Pheonix: FTP is a transfer protocol. It’s just an acronym for uploading/downloading files to/from a remote server. In this case I would be “FTPing” my blogger files to a remote server that had the http://www.gangstas-hugs.com domain name. Only a couple months? Damn, I don’t seem to be picking it up as quickly as you “naturals”.

    Deb: Yeah, that would be ideal, but that’s the problem with Blogger. If I start uploading the blog to a another server, I lose the “mojotek.blogspot.com” domain name, unless I start another blog with that name. But then I couldn’t post to that one, and people might get confused that I’m not posting there anymore. Guess I should have read more about this before I even started blogging huh!

    I moved from blogger to my own domain a few months ago. I switched to Wordpress around the same time.

    Sometimes blogger goes down, mysteriously loses posts, or has glitches in comments. I haven’t had any of those problems since the move.
