Phoenix: I eventually went with that decision. I just didn’t want to regret getting a music player that was too small right up front. We’ll see how it goes!

Seriously, it sounds like you’re lost without your ipod. I’m very happy with my Nano, but if you have a ton of songs to put on there, you should go with the ipod video.

Robguy: That’s the other thing I miss, being able to listen to the podcasts I actually subscribe to away from my computer. I actually don’t listen to much at all at my computer, so being without an iPod has really messed with my balls.

I have no advice for you and you obviously don’t need any anymore. I mostly listen to progressive talk radio now, but I guess most shows offer podcasts now.

Skipper: Well, if I hadn’t already bought about 750 songs on iTunes I would probably consider it. I’d love to have the freedom to get whatever MP3 player I wanted.

nicole: I don’t know how I’ve gone so long either… I actually broke down right after writing this post and bought a iPod Video 30Gb. So I guess all my talk was just talk.

jester: I did go ahead and get the video version… so we’ll see how well that works for me. And I’ve tried the programs that convert the iTunes files to non-secure AAC files… but they’re still a bitch to try and put on some MP3 player.

Are you effing kidding me? Go with the iPod Video and get yourself a nice hard shell case so you don’t have to worry about dropping it or scratching it all to hell. And let me introduce you to a nifty little feature in iTunes that converts your AAC files to MP3. There are also external programs that will do the same.
