Milestones
I’m on the first vacation I’ve had in over two years, and its getting tough to come up with material. So I’m stealing JJ’s post about Milestones.
How old were you when…
You had your first kiss?
12. It was at church camp of all places.
You lost your virginity?
To a girl, or to my hand? Well, let’s see… I had just started college when I started humping girls, and it was about the time of my first kiss that I started humping my hand.
You graduated high school?
18. Nothing special there. I guess it would have been a lot funnier if I was 23.
You graduated college?
25. And yes, I started at 18. Don’t hate me because I milked it and you didn’t.
You got your first job?
13. I started mowing this guy’s lawn that owned horses and lived downtown. He was the only person who could keep horses on his property that far inside the city limits.
You got your first real job?
23. I started teaching a technology class at a middle school. Middle-schoolers are MUCH worse now than when I was a little hellion.
You lived on your own (college dorms don’t count)?
20. I moved in with one of my best friends in a house his dad left to him.
You met the person you married/are engaged to?
Still not tied down… yet.
Got married?
Not yet.
Had a baby?
None that I know of.
Colored your hair?
18. Started bleaching it and just plain fucking around with it.
Got a tattoo/piercing?
18. Pierced my ears. Didn’t get my tattoo until I was 21.

Bought your first car?
22. I bought a piece of shit Dodge Neon from the mom of a girl I was dating at the time. Don’t EVER buy Dodge if you can help it. Damn thing needed a quart of oil a week.

I love memes that deal with firsts and milestones. Thanks for sharing. And the advice about Dodge… yep, stay away. My first car was a Dodge Colt RS… the RS stood for Really Speedy or Really Shitty depending on how it ran that day.

I agree. Dodges sure look pretty, but they tend to fall apart quickly. We’ve had Fords for years now and they haven’t been in the shop for anything besides oil changes and new tires

sophmore year, bleached my hair which took forever!!! and I died it blue which later turned green.

My first car was a Dodge Omni. You talk about a piece of crap. It makes the Dodge Neon look like a Lexus.

Riss: I try to make them as entertaining as I can with the 15 minutes I have to do them. They really do come through for the blogger who’s a little too busy for the week.

minijonb: I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who’s had a similar experience with a Dodge.
Vacations: I’m not really sure… except that you have to fork over a bunch of vacation hours to get it. I’ve heard its supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable, but I think that’s just an urban myth.
Stephen Kent: Actually, that would have been pretty funny… I’m sure I wouldn’t have been the first person to give it up at a church camp.
Dawn: Yeah, I really like how the Dodge Charger looks, but I’ll be damned if I ever buy one.

Phoenix: Holy shit! I would have said Omni too, if it wasn’t just given to me for free. That damn car was the beginning of my hatred of all things Dodge. Every time I see one on the street I shudder.
