Quote of the Day - It really was good, Troy.

Here’s another one of those post categories I warned you about. Quote of the Day is going to be just that, a quote that I deem worthy enough to garner so much attention on any particular day. It could come from anywhere: a movie, song lyrics, another blog’s post, the mouth of someone I know, etc. You get the idea.
Now for this week’s quote:
“Troy gave me this haircut! This haircut’s badass!”

This is probably one of my favorite movie quotes of all time. I’m not sure why either. Three Kings has some of the best quotable lines of any movie I’ve ever seen, but this quote has always stuck out in my head.
Archie Gates: “I’m talking about millions in Kuwaiti bullion.”
Conrad Vig: “You mean them little cubes you put in hot water to make soup?”
Archie Gates: “No, not the little cubes you put in hot water to make soup.”
JJ: I saw that one on IMDB, and it’s probably my third favorite from the film. I may actually be a little wrong on the quote I posted because I had to go from memory. Couldn’t find the exact text anywhere… Now I’ll have to get out the DVD and make sure I didn’t make an ass out of myself.
One of my favorite quotes is from Frank Zappa:
“High school is neither a time nor a place, it’s a state of mind.”
And the other from Ben Franklin:
“If you must fart, fart proudly.”
Poobah: I think Zappa had it spot on. And Franklin was a man ahead of his time, in MANY things.
