Fourth of July on Wednesday sucks

I’m back at work after having a day off in the middle of the week. It sucks. It’s like having two Mondays in one week. I know Friday is tomorrow, but the weekend is only going to be two days long. Why, oh why, did the Fourth of July have to fall smack dab in the middle of the week this year? I couldn’t even get drunk! What kind of celebration for the independence of our nation can you actually have when you’re required to be at work the next day? Not one our forefathers would be proud of, I’ll tell you that! The Fourth of July SO better make it up to me next year.

honestly, I’d rather have work on the 4th and have the 5th off to recoup from all the partying…lol
