We Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That…

As my homies B Real and Sen Dog so eloquently put it in the 90’s. The song was actually titled “I Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That”, but the chorus actually included the ‘We’ possessive pronoun. So who should be adopting this song as their new album? We Americans of course. Well, at least those of us who aren’t born with a silver spoon in our mouths.

Seems a number of these type of people have been adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina. But don’t worry, Bush is on the way! I know my heart would be eased knowing our commander in chief is taking care of things. I wonder if those people still caught on rooftops are thinking about how well Bush is going to handle this disaster.

Seems confidence in Ol’ Dubya is slipping nowadays. Too bad it took oil prices rising to all time highs to get the masses to start doubting the self-described cowboy. I think our sons and daughters going to die for a power-hungry adminstration and nothing else would have gotten the populace on the same page.

I’m really blaming the religious fundamentalists though. Not that the neo-cons weren’t brilliant to start using them. Using religion, a belief system based on irrational and unconfirmed ideas, is a great way to keep a population from seeing what you’re really up to. Over-zealous Christians have played right into terrorists’ hands, making every conflict about God. That way nothing makes any logical sense and anger over having your religion ‘blashpemed’ or ‘disgraced’ will always prevail. No better way to keep conflict rolling along. And no better way to make sure the rich elite (in every country) can keep rail-roading their profiteering tactics right over the blind middle-class.

But don’t worry… now that it costs over $2.60 a gallon for the soccer-moms to fill up their Ford Excursions, they aren’t as trusting of Bush’s “Faith-Based Policies“. So everything is going to be OK.

The gas price is rising due to the tragedy from teh hurricane. I’m guessing you’re not going to be one of those very few volunteers who donate money during this time of crisis.

It’s a shame that you live here, in the states. Do you know what ol’ Dubya has done for you? He has saved you— his fight against terrorism is what keeps this country safe. It’s his faith in God which keeps his morals and values high, it’s his heart that makes him concerned about the needs of Americans and other countries.

Do you realize how many other countries we help? WHO helps “US”? No one. Not one single country.

Bush is giving aid to those in need from the hurricane. He has done more for this country than any president, in my opinion.

    You said:
“Over-zealous Christians have played right into terrorists’ hands, making every conflict about God.”

That sentence right there does not make sense. Do you remember 9/11? I do. Do you remember how many people got killed during that attack? Do you know how many people are still being killed, due to terrorism? I think not.

My opinion, with all due respect? Maybe you should go back to teh “wilds of Africa” as stated in your profile. The United States does not need you here.

Who gave YOU freedom? A chance to build your life here, in the states? America did. Bush fights for you- he understands that terrorism is a huge threat to us, but obviously, you “foreigners” don’t appreciate anything, even when you have it so good here.

Do us a favor and *GO* back to the ‘homeland’. Better yet, immigration is a very tempting word to throw at you.

    God bless…

A Christian Republican who IS middle-class… how about that?

    Christianrepubbie,

Back to the wilds of Africa huh? Did you read the second part of that sentence “just a white guy who’s never left North America”? You said:

but obviously, you “foreigners” don’t appreciate anything, even when you have it so good here.

Go ahead and spout your rhetoric about “if you don’t like it leave”. I’m a Christian Middle-class white person from the US, so it’d be kind of hard for me to go back to ‘the motherland’. You did make one interesting point:

Who gave YOU freedom? A chance to build your life here, in the states? America did.

You’re actually wrong on that one. The founding fathers gave me all that. All the people that died in the founding of this country so that everyone could be free from religious persecution and ruling by an elite class also gave me all that.

You my friend have your head up your ass. If you think that the 9/11 was the start of a holy war for us, then you need to have a CAT scan. Yes terrorists hate us, mainly because they feel we interfere with their business too much, but they also know the easiest way to control us is through fear.

And that is exactly why you, and people like you, resort to Christianity in these times. Because you fear what you do not understand. That’s the reason you hate what I wrote, you don’t understand it or my viewpoint. See the difference between you and me, is that I can see where you are coming from. I can imagine myself being afraid of everything in the world because I don’t choose to understand it.

Oh, and I especially like the bit about throwing the ‘immigration’ word at me… Wow, you Jesus lovin’ fools really don’t seem too keen on actually following his teachings.

So, in closing, thank you for your input, it is appreciated. But don’t ever say its a shame that I live here in the states… cause I’m just like you my man: white, middle-class, christian. The only difference is I don’t eat every piece of bullshit that’s spoon-fed to me.

    P.S. Stay classy San Diego.

I disagree and agree with a couple of things here:

“You my friend have your head up your ass. If you think that the 9/11 was the start of a holy war for us, then you need to have a CAT scan. Yes terrorists hate us, mainly because they feel we interfere with their business too much, but they also know the easiest way to control us is through fear.”

No, my head is not up my @ss. Yes, 9/11 was the start of a holy war, you are right. Terrorists DO hate us—-is that hard to see? We interfered with their business due to the threat of harming us. Yes, it is our business. Let them praise Allah and receive their 72 virgins. You are absolutely right, the way to control us is through fear.

The thing here is, I have no fear, but the Lord. I don’t fear them, because I know my faith in God is the most important thing here.

Your faith may be different, and others may vary, but I guess that’s what makes the world go round, and the world go at war.

    In your profile you state:
“Born in the wilds of Africa, raised by Dingos, educated at Oxford, friend of royalty across the globe… or maybe just a white guy who’s never been outside North America.”

Okay, missed your ‘humor’ there. You said, “maybe” just a white guy…. meanwhile having a picture of a black man up there- I have no idea who ‘Trick Daddy’ is, thought it was your ~gangsta name~…sorry.

Remember, before you start spewing off political topics that you have no clue about half of it, remember, people are reading your blogs, unfortunately, and hopefully not believing this total crap that you write. Get out of America if you don’t like Ol’Dubya.

Stop your whining and get a job. I believe Liberal Demmies can get good jobs too instead of blog all day about their unrealistic views on the republican party.

WOW, This Chirstrepo guy sure seems like a blow hard, as for talking about “politic things that you know nothing about,” what a great cop-out. And geez you better get out of America if you don’t like the president you did or didn’t VOTE for. (That’s sarcasm Chirstrepo incase you missed that humor too) Christianrepubbie, when i say Christrepo, I am talking about you, maybe you missed the satirical nature of that too. It is nice to see that a Repub with a job has enough time to comment several times on a fairly small blog during their busy schedule, or maybe you don’t have a job, I won’t jump to conclusions. My advice is to pick up a book other than the bible and not on the Christians top 100 reading list and read it, maybe open you mind to other opinions and experiences other than your own. The terrorists sure do hate us so why don’t we go out and illiminate the terrorists where they are, oh wait the 9/11 comission found that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or harboring terrorists, it wasn’t until they had no government that the terroists gained ranks. Sounds like our leaders got a little ahead of themselves. By the way, i will buy you a plane ticket, and an AR15 to go over there and support our boys. Bush didn’t give me anything, your and my ancestor’s did, if anything i have less freedom today because of Bush than i did several years ago. And for my safety from terrorists, I’m more afraid of the crazy lady down the street with 100 cats than getting killed or injured by a terrorist, if bush wants to make me feel safer he will evict that lady.

Ah, it’s so amazingly interesting when the author comments on his own blog as ‘anonymous’….now that is FUNNY!

  • Mojotek

Oh please, I know I suck at this whole blog thing, but give me a little credit. I might be a man-whore in real life, but I have yet to steep so low as to post anonymously on my own pathetic blog.

I think a total of 4 people have probably read what I’ve put up here… so I think I’d be even more loserific (read: suicidal) if I needed to post anonymous comments to help support myself.

    Oh the humanity!

Haha! Now that was funny. I actually like busting on blogs, (wasting my time) on blogs that are intelligently written. If I didn’t find your blog intellectually stimulating, I wouldn’t make my crass opinions.

Your blog is not pathetic. So there—a compliment from the Christian Repubbie. Remember, controversial commenting brings in more people… ;)

Good luck on your blog, and thank you for the fun. It’s nice to see a man with a brain.

    A female Christian Repubbie ;)

I may reveal myself tomorrow for ya! Don’t be scared, I’m not as b*tchy as I appear to be in real blog life.

    All the best!

**Arches hands in front of face…**

    A female… IIIINTERSTING.

Hmmm… thought I was a little better at “reading” people. Guess all my comments will be prefaced with the prefunctory (is that even correct grammar?) “he/she” & “his/her”.

And I don’t really think my blog is pathetic… but self-depricating humor always seems to get the point across better.

Seriously though, thanks for the comments. Makes me think more critically about what I’ve written.

  • Mojotek

Aww man… and I thought my ‘coup de grace’ was the NAMBLA reference. Damn it… that was such a good one too.

  • Yacmed

Nothing worse than a Christian Rebublican female, except maybe a half-black, half-asian female driver. Now that is a hard one to chose between there. Isn’t it time you get back in the kitchen and start cooking your husbands dinner? And put the kids to bed early tonight, the old man might be drinking and remember that you came home 4 minutes late from the grocery store and teach to a lesson. Remember what the bible says, Honor your husband.
Peace out, one love, (pours out some malt liquor) thats for my dead homies.

    YacKmad,

One more thing…(sorry to be ranting on your post Mojo)

It’s men like you who make lesbians more and more each day. Men like you- trailer park white trash wearing guinea tee wife beater shirts who don’t have a job, who sit on their fat @sses trying to figure out why their big fat wife left them. It’s men like you who wonder why social security is going to be fizzled out by the year 2010—what will you do for a paycheck.

Maybe I’ll see you on an episode called “Cops” getting arrested for selling crack out of his double wide. Wait…retract, you probably couldn’t even afford that.

Best of luck to you, even though your luck spells out “SSI”.

    Mojo’s taxes pays your rent.
