Hmm… interesting points. You are right about always being disappointed if we trust ‘mankind’.

Not sure if I agree with you on Jesus being the one that sees the big picture. I’m more inclined to lump that all under ’some type of higher being’. I don’t think any religion has got that down yet. Mainly because its like “guppies trying to grasp the concept of math”. The various religions around the world have created constructs to try an encapsulate this higher being, but being limited by the human intellect weren’t able to really “capture” it.

Enough philosophical balderdash… I really gotta get some work done, sheesh.

If we trust ‘mankind’—we will always be disappointed. As for ‘my beliefs’—Jesus never disappoints us—He sees the “big picture”, whereas we only see a small scope of it. It’s like guppies trying to grasp the concept of math.

It is easier to attack than to befriend someone, that I totally agree with you on.

Well, my religious beliefs aside, I’d have to disagree with you about “Who Would Jesus Bomb?” - the world. I would say if man (I use that in a non-PC way I know) were left to run rampant, then MAN would bomb the whole world.

I do have to worry about being bombed, because I can’t trust my fellow man to look at the bigger picture. As far as my understanding of Christian doctrine goes, if Jesus were alive today he would bomb no one. If he is/was indeed the person represtented in the Bible, then he would undoubtedly be able to first understand and then win-over those that are against him. The most difficult of undertakings of course, since its always much easier to attack the opposition than it is to win them over.

Another thing—regarding Jesus bombing the world…….

If you have faith in Christ- you won’t worry about the world being bombed, for we are not of this world—it is only materialistic; a physical nature. We are not of the earth because our spirits will live on for enternity.

That’s just “my beliefs”—and my love for Christ. You?–You may have faith in another religion, or you may be Agnostic or Atheist, however, I respect your views and will not insult it. It’s personal.

Even though I’m not that old shlumped man hanging over his laptop sipping mai-thai’s, I’m a young lesbian, works at home, hunched over her laptop, and yes, sometimes at the pool.

You are absolutely right about the way the mind works vs. the mannerisms it spews out for some.

Do we hide our intelligence out of modesty? Are we in fact, ingelligent? Or do we need to express ourselves on a much deeper level?

I was impressed by your blog, because there aren’t many men (that I know of) who can write like you do, and express their thoughts like you. I knew once I came across your blog, I had to pick your brain and see how you debate, and surprisingly enough, you said the “key words” that made me think, “Hmm, this guy’s alright.”

You said, “I can see your point of view.” Yet- you can disagree with your own opinions. Kudos!

I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, nor am I dumb as a box of rocks, however, I love a good challenge when I see one.

“Who Would Jesus Bomb?” The fact remains–the world. More evil than good, unfortunately. Revelations tells all.
