Vulva

The t-shirt I’m wearing right now:

Makes you want to get a Vulva t-shirt of your own doesn’t it?

Quadruple-Decker Go Carts

Did you know that there existed four-level go-cart tracks? Well, I certainly didn’t. At least not until I had the pleasure of visiting Redneck Vegas, more commonly known as Pigeon Forge, TN. When you ride down the strip in Pigeon Forge you will not see only one, nor only two, but a whopping THREE quadruple-decker go-cart tracks.

Band Geeks Gone Wild!

I promised to start writing stories this week, and I won’t disappoint. I’ll start off the week with the retelling of the most annoying part of our trip. It was our last morning in the hotel downtown before we went up to the cabin in the mountains. I’m just mildly hungover from the night before, so you can probably imagine the mood I was in. At approximately 8am, on a Saturday mind you, I hear the first trumpet from the parking lot outside.

Got the Pictures Back

We got the pictures of our trip to Gatlinburg back yesterday, and I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out. Unfortunately I didn’t bring them with me to work today, so I can scan any of them to to go along with the posts I still need to write. So instead of writing a post about one of my misadventures in the Great Smoky Mountains, I’ll let everyone in on a little secret: I finally joined Flickr.

Super Speedy Sonic Soils Soup Supply

The first video game system I ever bought myself was the Sega Genesis. 16 bits of unadulterated gaming power, and I saved up enough money to buy it myself. You want to know what made a 13 year old save up $130 by mowing grass and doing odd jobs around the neighborhood? It was the first commercial for ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’. As soon as I found out that the new game was being bundled with the Genesis, my mind was made up. I was gonna sell my soul to get one of those god damn game systems if I had to!

Happenings in the Blog World - 2.10.2006

Thought I’d chime in with a few interesting happenings in the blogosphere.

The Perfect Valentine’s Day is posted at Beauty vs. the Beast. Have a read, it’s not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Some cleaning ladies stole JJ’s and Boggy’s bag.
A couple of blogs that I really liked have gone on hiatus for [...]

Hillbilly Overalls

I can’t believe I’m posting this, especially since I think stereotypes about my own state only have the smallest bit of truth to them, but this actually made me laugh out loud when I saw it.

High Dive Belly Smacker

I went to Phoenix last September for a business trip and while there, a pretty funny thing was caught on film. Let me give you a little background first. After the ‘business’ part of the trip was over, we had quite a bit of fun at the resort. The pools and the water park on the property were pretty awesome. Well, a co-worker of mine had brought her husband and a few of his friends along for the trip. The were a gas (literally and figuratively)… and we had some laughs. The picture you will see below is of a guy who goes by ‘Spinny’. He decides to do a ‘belly-smacker’ off the roof of the cabana next to the pool.

Indoor Pools Rock! Especially in your living room!

As far as crazy stunts go, this Tynan guy has got to be up there. He decides, after checking out a ‘Penguin Web Site‘, that he’s going to get himself a pet penguin. Yes, you read the right, a pet penguin.

Nerds, Warcraft, and EA.com?

I was just checking the logs for the blog and noticed a lot of the traffic was coming from the ‘EA.com’ domain. I thought “This is a little strange”. So I did a little digging and found out almost all of the traffic was visiting a particular post, Warcraft ‘Switch’ Commercial. I figured that someone who worked there must have found the video funny and passed in on via email or something, since I didn’t see a referring link at first.

It actually turns out that the traffic was coming from a post in a forum for a World of Warcraft clan called ‘Shado’, or ‘Circle of Friends’.
