Real Life Simpsons Intro

I've been a Simpsons fan since I was in middle school, and I still think the show is pretty damn funny. Yeah, maybe the writing is getting a bit stale, but for Jebus' sake, it's been on longer than any other show. Stale writing or not, Homer and company still make me laugh harder than 99% of the shows currently on TV.

It seems that someone has gone to the trouble of creating a real-life movie sequence for the Intro segment of the Simpsons cartoon. They even went as far as to put special effects into it. Count this fan impressed:

    It looks like they all had a good time. I can’t imagine my dad ever saying, “hey kids, wanna make a real life Simpson’s opening?” That’s crazy stuff.

    My computer sucks buns when it comes to video. I’ve been waiting eons and the thing STILL hasn’t loaded…ah, okay, there it is…very nice.

    Ed Kohler: Thanks for stopping by. I was equally surprised that someone undertook it. I’m relatively sure that it was done professionally though. I saw a few semi-expensive special effects shots in there.

    nicole: Glad that it finally loaded. Hopefully it wasn’t a problem with the site. Even though the ‘Peans have been known to self-destruct early, I think our American debutantes are really starting to show those uppity foreigners how they can throw everythign away too!
