Year in Review with Conan O’Brien
January 3rd, 2006 by mojotek

Conan has always been one of my favorites, and this is his show’s tribute to “The Year in Review: 2005″. As always it’s shits and giggles. I don’t know why the sketches with a celebrity’s face on a TV screen with an actor’s mouth superimposed on it is so funny, but they always get me laughing. Be sure to pay attention to the Arnold Shwarzenhaufer(sic) bit.
It’s a large file (~5.5MB) and can take a while to load on a slow connection. So if you want to [tag]download[/tag] it and view it later, please see click the link under ‘Attached Files’.

LOL… That was hilarious! I love Conan, even though I’m usually at work when he’s on.
My favorite from that clip was Babs Bush… I was cracking up!
Holy crap that is funny. I think the reason that bit is so hilarious is because it looks so incredibly cheesy.
Laurie: I’m usually in bed when he’s on (I’m still getting used to this ‘working full-time thing even after a few years), so I feel your pain. I think my favorite was the Geraldo bit… He had his voice dead-on.

The Phoenix: Yes, definitely cheesy as hell…
I miss Conan. I used to watch him all of the time when I was a bartender. Now that I have a 9-5, my ass is in bed too. I’m lucky if I can make it through the 10pm shows that I’m so addicted to.
Does this mean we’re getting old?

thanks for conan, been three years since i pulled the plug on TV, and he is one of the few things i miss. also noted the link publish. hope this works for everyone.
April: Old? Did someone say old? Dammit, I am NOT approaching 30!

reverend gisher: TV is probably something I could actually give up entirely if I actually had any will power. There’s so much crap on television that it lowers my IQ every time I flip through any network channels. Reality TV is teh devil! You can stay just as, if not more, informed sticking to the internet and publications.
I’m going to have to start TiVoing that shit. I also used to stay uo to watch the show after getting home from the night shift. But now that I’m working days, there’s no way I’m watching it then getting up at 6:30am.
I agree with Laurie. Barbara Bush’s voice was perfect.
I’m so gonna buy a t-shirt that is advertised on the bottom of this thing. It’s going to say: I’M A VIRGIN!
I love it!!
I just remember going to see him years ago when I still lived in NYC. He was funny as hell considering how lame the guests were that night (I forget who they were). And that studio is TEENY!
lol
JJ: I think that’s what I’ll be forced to do from now on… Tivo is probably my best bet. As I go to bed too late as it is.

April: If you get the shirt you’ll have to take a picture of you in it and post it!

ngregory00: I’m so jealous! I’ve wanted to see Conan live since I was a wee lad in undergraduate school.

Jay: I concur.
